BRUSHES

• Casaneo by DaVinci. Synthetic Squirrel for Watercolor, Ink, + water-based media. Very soft bristles that draw up and hold an amazing amount of water. These are similar to Princeton Neptune, but better. The Casaneo have more durable bristles that keep sharper points over time, as well as a higher quality hardwood handle. Also available as a travel brush.
• Catalyst by Princeton: firm bristle suitable for oil + acrylic. Great substitution for hog bristle brushes that won't leave pieces of the bristle in your painting. This “workhorse” brush moves paint swiftly and powerfully across a surface.
• Catalyst Wedges + Blades by Princeton: rubber tools for moving paint over canvas, also food-safe and recommended for cake & pastry decorating, ceramics, Gelli Plate Prints + more.
• Cosmo-Top Spin by DaVinci. A perfect blend of synthetic filaments for gouache + watercolor. These brushes make perfect, crisp marks. A “must try” for all those working in watercolor or gouache.
