Tuesday, April 11th 5:30 - 8:30pm
Instructor: Jennifer Giovannucci
Ages: Adults & Mature Teens

Learn 3D visual triggers and apply them to art. We see infinitely more than a camera and are able to gauge the spatial nature of the world around us in a way that a camera is simply incapable of. Mimicking certain aspects of our visual experience can greatly enhance the sense of depth in our painting and drawing.

Please plan to bring basic drawing materials, such as:
Drawing paper, toned or white (i.e. Stonehenge, Rives BFK, Arches Cover)
Graphite pencils, a variety of hardness (i.e. 2B, 4B, HB, etc.)
Colored pencils, especially earth tones (i.e. terra cotta, raw umber, tuscan red, burnt ochre)
Kneaded Eraser
Plastic Eraser

Also feel free to bring a white conte crayon if your paper is tinted, as well as watercolors if you intend to do washes. All supplies are available at Art Supply Depo.

Please register as soon as you plan on attending. Classes that don't reach the minimum number of students required will be canceled 48 hours before the first day of class. Last minute registrations are accepted if class minimum is met and space allows.
